Hey, anyone know if a cat can OD on catnip? I bought some for Sammy (as a bribe to stop eating my plants) and I think I gave him WAAAAY too much. He was acting totally spastic and completely out of character... plus he INSISTED that I go him funyuns and a Gatorade. Weird.

I once had a stash of catnip in the kitchen, the cats forced open the cabinet door - pulled out the Tupperware container and devoured six months supply of catnip in one session.
It's the hairballs later you have to watch out for, they might not be able to OD on catnip but dear God, the smell afterwards.
