Why it is awesome to live alone:
1. You KNOW who made the mess in the kitchen
2. Never arguing over who's turn it is to take out the trash
3. Morning Farts
4. The remote is always yours, all the time
5. No sharing of closet space
6. Sleeping diagonally
Why it is not awesome to live alone:
1. No one to take care of you when you're sick*
I've long been telling people that my immunity system is about as strong as a single ply Kleenex. And I am not exaggerating. Once again I find myself a victim of my head and chest congestion. I am going to dig in my cupboard and see if I have any chicken noodle soup, take a nap, and then try to muster up the energy to microwave it.
*Don't get me wrong, the last person I lived with didn't take care of me when I was sick, but at least I had someone that would bring me tissues if I begged them long enough. And for the most part, I knew it was him that made that mess in the kitchen.

pobrecita! i wish i could come home now and take care of you... i'd make your soup (on the stove even - not in the microwave) and i'd tuck you in...
Awwww poor baby! I will bring you something, when I am sick I usually eat a Gates burnt end sandwich and it fixes all of my problems, do you want me to bring you one? I wouldn't tuck you in or anything because I do not want your horrid disease jumping onto me and ravaging my equally weak immune system like an unstoppable rebel force, but I can wear my brand new sequined thong and gyrate dangerously close to your face until you throw up all the sick in you, no charge!
BTW that offer goes for anyone, male or female, Max loves it and requests it even if he's not sick!
:o( I hope you are better soon! And yeah, the trade-off of having someone take care of you when you're sick & having to clean up their messes when you're well again isn't really a very good swap. :oP
